Where it all began
Established in 2017, Open Door Digital was founded by James and Sam Barker.
Having sold a successful stock photography business and with a two year old son to look after, they were keen to maintain the independence of running their own company, but without the 24/7 pressure of an international ecommerce business.
Harnessing James’ technical expertise and Sam’s background in marketing and project management, they formed Open Door Digital to bring high quality website design and SEO services to the SME market.

Since then, Open Door Digital has grown to serve small to medium sized business across Kent and Sussex, and occasionally beyond.
We work with clients across a wide variety of sectors. We love this diversity, it’s a great way to uncover fresh ideas and perspectives to enhance our services.
Over time, our services have expanded; we’ve moved into Google advertising and a wider range of content marketing activities.
We’ve also developed our strategic services, working in long term partnership with our clients to develop their digital marketing for sustainable business growth.
